Alno AG has announced it has been able to restart kitchen production at its German Headquarters in Pfullendorf.

Alno AG has announced it has been able to restart kitchen production at its German Headquarters in Pfullendorf.

This follows the completion of technical and organisational preparations set out after Alno AG’s self-administered insolvency on July 12,  2017.

Alno is now in the process of completing orders made around the time of the insolvency with deliveries in the UK resuming this week.

New kitchen orders are planned to be processed from August 28, with deliveries from September onwards.

Its factory in Enger, which mainly produces Wellmann kitchens, is also aiming to start production again this week with deliveries into the UK starting from August 14. It will also resume the production of Pino kitchens in Coswig.

The provisional trustee Professor Dr Martin Hormann and the provisional committee of creditors are obligated by German law to make preparations for a structured bidding procedure, as part of the German ‘dual-track’ process.

This will only be pursued however, at the end of the three month insolvency period, should the restructuring be unsuccessful.
