Exclusive appliance partnership to help company achieve £500m revenue

Avant Homes has rewritten its interior specification, which sees it the only house builder to offer Hotpoint’s Class 9 cooking collection as part of its  integrated home and kitchen appliances.

In addition, the company has also established a partnership with London-based tile retailer Designworks, which has created an exclusive collection of over 50 wall and floor designs.

Earlier this year, Avant Homes also revealed it was to offer the British Gas Hive wireless thermostat as standard in all its homes.

The new specification also features kitchens by Manhattan and Ellis Furniture, with a choice of 19 colour palettes.

Master bedrooms boast Shaker-style fully-fitted wardrobes by Space-Pro, designed exclusively for Avant Homes.

The interior specification, along with land investment in Northern UK locations, is expected to help the company achieve a turnover of £500m and 2,000 legal completions.

It follows the company’s announcement of a record revenue and profit for last year, which saw sales increase by 44% to £368million and the company complete 1,636 homes, an increase of 35%.

In addition, Avant Homes added 1,100 plots to its owned and contracted land, which now stands at 6.700 plots.

Chief executive of Avant Homes Colin Lewis said: “We have invested a huge amount of time and energy in our new specification. By daring to be different in our approach and choices made, we have achieved innovative and highly effective ways of solving many of the old design problems that new houses have.”

He continued: “I am immensely proud of what the Avant Homes team has achieved with this latest specification launch and excited by the new and existing partnerships that are enabling us to deliver it. I look forward to our enhanced product underpinning our strategic growth plans and achieving our objective of becoming the house builder of choice in the north of the UK.”
