Beko launches global healthy eating campaign

Beko Eat Like a Pro campaign

With support from FC Barcelona, Beko has introduced "Eat Like a Pro".

With support from FC Barcelona, which is sponsored by Beko, the appliance manufacturer launched a global healthy eating initiative Eat Like a Pro to tackle the rising issue of childhood obesity, at the IFA exhibition in Berlin.

The campaign aims to empower and help parents globally on the importance of healthy eating while encouraging children to emulate FC Barcelona heroes and ‘Eat Like a Pro”.

It aims to grant families exclusive access to the eating habits of the team’s players via an “Eat Like a Pro” recipe book and the Eat Like a Pro website will offer range of activities, as well as healthy eating tips.

Food blogger Ella Mills (Deliciously Ella) and FC Barcelona star Patrick Kluivert lent their support to the campaign, which will be rolled out globally from January 2018.

If current trends continue the number of overweight or obese under 5s will reach 70million by 2025. Our Eat Like a Pro initiative aims to make healthy food enticing to children throughout the world, helping them eat what their heroes eat. Our aim is simple, to help reduce childhood obesity through prevention and education.”
