Independent bathroom and tile retailer Better Bathrooms has expanded its showroom network, opening a store in Leicester.
The 30,000sq ft showroom features two floors of bathroom suites and tiles and its opening has created seven jobs in Leicester and 20 new jobs in the company.
The Leicester showroom is part of the company's strategy to expand Better Bathrooms into new markets, following a £10million investment from the Business Growth Fund.
Better Bathrooms now has four showrooms, with stores in Wigan, Warrington and Manchester, as well as a trade counter in Leigh and online www.betterbathrooms.com
In 2007, Better Bathrooms turnover was just over £1million and in the last financial year, turnover was £32million. And the company has a target of reaching £40million within the next 12 months. The company aims to double its growth over the next three year to five years.
The company has won 17 business awards in the last 12 months, and Better Bathrooms was also a finalist in three categories of the Great British Entrepreneur Awards.
CEO and Founder of Better Bathrooms, Colin Stevens, commented: “I spent a long time looking for the perfect location for the fourth store and Leicester ticked all the boxes. The new showroom looks great and the team have been working hard to ensure they are experts on all our products and services. Leicester showroom is a fantastic addition to the Better Bathrooms brand – we’re all really excited to see the store open”.
