BiKBBI launches kbb insurance

Policies for kitchen and bathroom professionals

The British Institute of Kitchen, Bedroom & Bathroom Installation (BiKBBI) has launched an insurance service, offering a range of products specifically designed for the kbb industry.

The range of insurance products include public & employers’ liability cover, professional indemnity and directors’ insurance, as well as vehicle, fleet, tool, phone and breakdown cover.

In addition, the insurance offered by the BiKBBI also provides private medical cover, accident and sickness protection as well as life, personal home and vehicle policies.

Launched in conjunction with United Insurance Brokers, the service is accessible via the BiKBBI’s website and there are discounts for members.

CEO of the BiKBBI Damian Walters commented: “Insurance is an important ingredient for any business operating in the sector and as an organisation we have been disappointed by some of the policies presented to us. Clearly some of these policies were driven by low price but were lacking in the critical area of protection for both the tradesperson and their customers.

“Our policies will offer the right level of protection at competitive prices and once again, we provide this on a not-for-profit basis, passing on any cost savings directly to our members.”
