Blum UK is in the early stages of planning and building an extension to its headquarters in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire. The size of the extension is unconfirmed but will be mainly showroom space and offices.
It will include a ‘competence centre’ which will not only feature ideas for kitchen designs but also material use. Sales and marketing director of Blum UK, David Saunders said: “We understand the needs of the industry are changing, dramatically, and as much as we can we try to predict that. We know we have to interact at a different level and we have to put forward ideas to do that.”
The investment into an extension also forms part of the company’s expansion plans, housing more staff, as Blum is set to grow its 30 employees.
Sales and marketing director of Blum UK, David Saunders explained to Kitchens & Bathrooms News: “Over the next two years, we have plans to expand the business and we can’t do one without the other.”
Blum UK has already invested in its stockholding of its Tandembox Antaro, with the grey model available from stock, with free 48-hour delivery. It has also increased the Tandembox Antaro in Silk White, with information on request.
