BMA names conference host

BBC News Sophie Long will chair Bathroom and Kitchen Business Conference

Organiser of the Bathroom and Kitchen Business Conference, the Bathroom Manufacturers Association (BMA) has announced BBC presenter Sophie Long as its host.

Long is a presenter on the BBC News channel and the 8pm Summary on BBC1, and regularly anchors the channel’s output from weather storms to politics, including four general election campaigns.

In addition, the BMA has announced Steve Head will be speaking at the event and will be addressing change management, which is vital to the success of the drive for a circular economy – the theme of the conference.

Overall, the conference will tackle the corporate, social and economic consequences of cradle to cradle manufacturing, marketing and selling, while meeting customers’ needs. 

The Bathroom and Kitchen Business Conference will be held at the Belfry in Sutton Coldfield on October 4.

It will be preceded by a charity golf event on October 3, to raise money for the BMA’s nominated charity The Childrens’ Burns Trust.
