Manufacturing issues for induction hobs sees temporary discontinuation of selected models

BSH Home Appliances has announced availability of many induction hobs across its Bosch, Neff and Siemens brand will be affected until April 2018.

The company has cited difficulty with the manufacturing of the control panel of the products, having already informed its dealers that a component cannot be manufactured to the expected level by a third party supplier.

To lessen the impact of the delay, BSH will temporarily discontinue a number of its induction hobs and stop taking orders for them today (January 15) and introduce new models that do not require the component.

The focus will be on clearing existing back orders on an ‘oldest orders first’ basis.

To assist its dealers, BSH Group has created a dedicated 2017/18 winter induction hob brochure for its Bosch, Neff and Siemens brands, detailing all models that are still available until further notice.

BSH suffered a stock shortage in 2015 which was for its latest built-in ovens across Bosch, Neff and Siemens brands.
