Forming a year-long programme of festivities

Commemorating 150 years trading, Burbidge has unveiled a redesigned logo, with a 150th anniversary strapline for this year.

It forms part of a year-long programme of festivities which will see customers, employees and stakeholders help celebrate the milestone.

Burbidge was founded in 1867 by wood worker Henry Burbidge who made wood turned sports equipment before manufacturing kitchens  in the early 1990s.

Most recently it introduced a range of modular and freestanding bathroom furniture, under the brand The Bathroom Co.

Managing director of the company Ben Burbidge said: “Our business has reached an incredibly important milestone; very few businesses have been around for as long as we have, and it’s a remarkable achievement. We are proud to be celebrating 150 years of Burbidge – especially as in 2017 we are stronger and more successful than ever.

“We will be marking the company’s anniversary – and future – with a variety of events and activities throughout the year, and are kicking off the celebrations by launching our brand new logo.”
