Worktop manufacturer Cosentino has continued its support of The Kitchen Education Trust through the award of a 50% scholarship for one of its retailers to study a foundation degree in kitchen design at Buckinghamshire New University.
Designer at Classic and Modern Kitchens, in Caerphilly, Dan Hughes will attend a three-year distance learning course which focuses on topics such as design, sales and marketing, manufacturing and project management.
Dan Hughes commented: “I have worked in the kitchen industry for 14 years, but this is a great opportunity for me to expand my horizons and learn from industry professionals at the top of their game. I am hugely appreciative to Cosentino for its support, and I am looking forward to getting to grips with the various aspects of the course, which I will be able to apply to my work at Classic & Modern Kitchens.”
