Brassware manufacturer Hansgrohe has achieved record sales with a turnover of €841.4million, as compared to €805.5million in 2012.
In addition, the Hansgrohe Group improved EBITDA to €155.6, compared to €143.3million in 2012 and created 57 new jobs, bringing the total number of staff worldwide to 3,501.
According to Hansgrohe, its international sales increased by more than 5%, with growth driven by North American, China and France. It also cited Emerging markets of Asia, Middle East and Latin America as contributing to the growth. Its domestic sales increased by 2%.
CEO of Hansgrohe Siegfried Gänsslen, who is to step down in October, after 20 years' service reported: “Against a backdrop of moderate economic growth rates across the globe, Hansgrohe delivered an above average performance. We were able to increase sales of mixers and showers both at home and aboard and achieve growth in nearly all sales regions.”
In 2013, the company expanded its distribution network to increase its global presence, including the founding of a Turkish sales and distribution company. The South African subsidiary moved to a new HQ with large showroom and Hansgrohe also opened a showroom for its Axor brand in Milan.
