Hettich UK has completed a £300,000 upgrade of its Salford headquarters, including a larger showroom, to allow the company to display a more comprehensive overview of its fittings.
In addition to a 125sqm showroom, the investment also includes a 100sqm training facility to give manufacturers and installers the opportunity of hands-on experience with fittings.
Completing the upgrade, it has reconfigured its warehouse and packing line and given the building an external face-lift.
Managing director of Hettich UK, Tim Leedham said: "The UK is a very important market for Hettich in which we still expect to grow. This investment will enable us to service customers even better.
He pointed out a number of overseas manufacturers, growing their presence in the UK, use Hettich fittings such as Pronorm, Brigitte, Composit, Nobilia and Hacker. Leedham also said UK-based companies such as K Kitchens have adopted Hettich components. He added: "...we have invested to ensure that they, and all businesses which place their trust in our service and products, receive unrivalled support."
