HiB promotes two brothers to director

Two of HiB’s longest standing employees are promoted to the board

Bathroom product manufacturer HiB has announced the promotion of brothers Neil and Richard Berry, and will now take on the role of operations director and logistics director respectively.

Both brothers joined the company as warehouse operatives when, at the time, three people worked in the warehouse.

He commented: “The company has grown enormously since then – we now have a team of 60 in the warehouse, and pack around 11,000 orders a month, compared with 500 in 1997.

Prior to my recent promotion, I was working as warehouse manager, and with my move to operations director, I am now responsible for the smooth running of the distribution centre – it’s been an incredible journey!”

Richard Berry who will soon be celebrating his 20th anniversary at HiB added: “I’m thrilled to have been a part of HiB since the beginning and to have grown with the company as its blossomed into the amazing success it is today. As logistics director, I’m now responsible for all transport and purchasing, and I take huge pride in that.”
