HPP is headquartered in Oldham, with a second distribution centre in Sheffield, and employs 200 people to serve over 2,000 trade customers.

Over the past 12 months, the family-owned business has achieved a “significant” increase in turnover, invested over £2million across the business and created jobs.

Managing director at HPP Keith Wardrope said: “It’s a great achievement for the company to be a finalist in the Insider Made in the North West Awards. Success would send out a strong, positive message about our contribution to manufacturing locally, regionally and nationally, as well recognition to our staff, customers and supplier that whilst we’ve been quietly going about our business over the last few years, we believe now is our time to shine.

“We take great pride in what we do and are proud of our progress and business success to date.”

The regional winners of this year’s Insider Awards will automatically go on to the national grand final of the Made in the UK Awards later this year.
