Final call for designers, architects and students to win prizes up to €4,000

Roca’s sixth Jumpthegap international design competition for students, architects and designers under 35, is nearing its deadline of February 25.

The competition aims to find sustainable concepts for the bathroom and will offer three prizes: two winning projects and one Special Sustainability Prize presented by Roca’s charity We Are Water Foundation.

The two winning projects will each receive €4,000, with the Sustainability Prize winner receiving €1,000.

They will be chosen by a jury which includes journalist and architecture critic Tom Dyckhoff, who presented The Great Interior Design Challenge on BBC2.

Previous jumpthegap winners include an ‘elder-friendly’ WC Still You (shown), a shower unit that can be used in the garden and a ‘breathing bathtub’, which is energy and water-efficient.
