After being devastated by a fire in 2012, builder’s merchant Carvers is being assisted by bathroom brand Kirby Sebastian who has invested in a new showroom for the cmpany.
The family run business, established in 1896 , had a fire which destroyed offices, warehousing and stock, but director Henry Carver safeguarded the jobs of 200 employees.
Commercial director for Kirby Sebastian Andrew Bullingham said: “Helping to set up the new showroom is our way of helping Carvers get back on its feet. The staff and management have done a sterling job in keeping the business going in such difficult circumstances and we are proud to be part of the effort”.
Henry Carver added: “the future is looking bright again for Carvers”.
