Cosentino and Franke are the latest manufacturers to join the The Kitchen Education Trust (TKET) sponsors for the Foundation Degree in Kitchen Design, taught by New Bucks University.
They join Blum, Blanco, BSH, Egger, Decoglaze, Miele, LDL Components and CD (UK) who already offer sponsorships.
All sponsors are now recruiting for students, who are working in studios, to offer financial support for those who want to join the course in September.
Managing director of Cosentino explained why his company had become a sponsor: “Cosentino is committed to supporting its industry and is delighted to be backing The Kitchen Education Trust. We are offering one of our Elite Studios a 50% scholarship to send a member of their staff on the award-winning foundation degree course at New Bucks University.”
Equally, managing director of Franke UK Neil Clark commented on why his company had become involved: “We recognise that the Kitchen Education Trust are making a real difference to our industry and are pleased to be able to support the Kitchen Design course at New Bucks University.”
TKET chairman Craig Matson added: "More companies wishing to offer their backing or recommend a student should contact me for the admissions cycle that commences in September."
