Mereway Group plans to target builder and self-build sales channels

Kitchen, bathroom and bedroom manufacturer Mereway Group plans to grow its Trend Interiors brand, increasing turnover by 50% in 2017,  by targeting both builders and self-build sales channels.

The products are designed and manufactured across four production sites, with Mereway having recently expanded its Arlington Road factory by more than 10%.

Sales and marketing director of Mereway Group Graham Jones commented: “We have ambitious plans for growth. There is a gap in the market for a quality product and service that is affordable and easy for customers to buy via their builders and installation professionals.”

He continued: “Our Trend brand offers a superior specification than other builder/DIY options currently on the market and covers kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, worktops and home media, something that is not currently available from any other company.”

Trend Kitchens was launched in 2013 and was followed by bathroom and bedroom furniture, with home media and UrbanTop worktops introduced at KBB last year.

Graham Jones added: “Trend is the first multi-channel brand to be offered at such quality and we are confident that there is demand for a better service than that which has previously been available for this sector.

He explained the Mereway Group was developing a partnership agreement for the brand – My Trend – for displaying partners, which also offers discounts for non-displaying partners.

Jones also stated a new website would be launched later in the year, featuring online planning and ordering.
