Miele takes Home Appliance Brand title for third year

Miele has won the Home Appliance Brand of the Year category, for the third year running, at the annual Which? Awards, held in London on May 17, 2017.

The appliance manufacturer was recognised for having products which “consistently perform highly” when tested by the consumer association’s research team.

Miele beat Bosch, LG, Samsung and Siemens who were all shortlisted in the same category.

However, in a repeat of last year, Samsung went on to win the Sound & Vision Brand of the Year Award. It beat Fujifilm and Panasonic.

Managing director of Miele GB Simon Grantham said: “We are delighted and proud to have won the Which? Home Appliance Brand of the Year award for a third year. An award like this is a reflection of everything we believe in – quality products and fantastic customer service.

“Still a family owned and run company, the award is testament to everyone who is involved with Miele and we strive to always be ‘Immer Besser’ – Forever Better, passionate about offering consumers a range of high performance and convenience features that are designed to add real benefits, precise results and make their lives easier.”

Which? chief executive Peter Vicary Smith said:“Consumers should be at the heart of every business. Brands that deliver excellent products and services for their customers deserve to be recognised and rewarded.

“The Which? Awards winners list honours the commitment of those businesses that strive to meet the expectations of consumers and go above and beyond to respond to their needs.”
