Second exhibition to celebrate 100 years of Roca
In its second exhibition marking Roca’s centenary, From Raw Material to Finished Product, the Spanish bathroom manufacturer will explore how the past 100 years have influenced its product design, at the London Roca Gallery on September 16-January 20, 2018.
It will show how its experiences over the past 100 years have, challenged established thinking and mirrored changes in lifestyle, as well as highlighting research and design inspiration behind its latest collections.
The exhibition will also acknowledge the design adaptations needed to reach new markets and cultures in over 170 countries, Roca operates in.

In addition to design, the exhibition will also look at how manufacturing processes have changed and consider the impact of technological advancements such as water efficiency.
A series of free weekend evening events will also accompany the exhibition, including interactive workshops on September 18 from 18.30-20.30.
Sintered stone manufacturer Neolith has launched Calacatta Roma and Cappadocia Sunset, inspired by nature and classical architecture, and for use in kitchens or bathrooms walls, floors, in gardens or facades.
They belong to The New Classtone and Fusioncollections which interpret marble and natural stone, respectively, and boast Neolith’s antibacterial NeolEAT technology.
Inspired by Ancient Rome, Calacatta Roma (pictured top) pays homage to Italian Carrara marble, with ochre and grey veins in a white background.
While the Cappadocia region, in central Turkey, with its rock formations formed by volcanoes and underground cities, has inspired Cappadocia Sunset (pictured below).
Just like all of Neolith’s surfaces, Calacatta Roma and Cappadocia Sunset are resistant to heat and atmospheric conditions, are 100% recyclable, and do not contain added quartz to their formulation.
