Submissions are now open for the 2017 SBID awards.

Architects and interior designers are now able to submit their projects for the 2017 SBID International Design Awards with submissions due by Friday 30th June 2017.

The finalists will be announced in July, where the public will be able to cast their vote for their favourite projects online which will contribute to the overall scores.

The award spans over 43 countries with each entry undergoing a two-tier judging process by panels of industry experts.

With new additions to this year’s panel including Andrew Katz, partner at Prospect Hotel Advisors LLC and Carlo Castilli director of strategic planning and design, the award hopes to bring bolder and more outstanding projects to the forefront of design.

This year the most popular contract and residential categories have been split into separate divisions. The hotel design category has been broken down into ‘public space’ and ‘rooms and suites’ and the residential category into ‘apartments’ and ‘houses’ in the under £1million category. The awards hope this will allow them to celebrate all groups in their entirety. Entry is free for SBID members and a fee applies for non-members.
