Wayne Hemingway to judge Kbsa Awards

Head judge will also present awards evening on September 12

The Kitchen Bathroom Bedroom Specialists Association (Kbsa) has announced designer Wayne Hemingway as head judge of its Designer Awards 2018.

Wayne and his wife Gerardine started and built the fashion label Red or Dead and sold the company 21 seasons later in a multi-million deal. They then set up Hemingway Design which specialises in affordable and social design.

He received an MBE in the Queen’s Birthday honours in 2006, has been named a professor in The Built Environment department at Northumbria University and doctor of Design at Wolverhampton, Lancaster and Stafford. In addition, Hemingway is also a Fellow of Blackburn College.

Wayne Hemingway will also present the awards at the Stratford Manor Hotel, Warwickshire, on September 12.
