Bespoke furniture manufacturer Woodstock Furniture has been awarded with a Manufacturing Guild Mark (MGM), which according to the company is only available to the top 50 furniture and furnishing manufacturers.
The mark is audited by FIRA, on behalf of hte Furniture Makers Company, and covers manufacturing design, product quality, marketing, finance, commitment to training, employment conditions and sustainability.
MD and chief designer at Woodstock Furniture, Andrew Hall commented: "We are delighted to have been awarded the Manufacturing Guild Mark which acknowledges our commitment to good design and efficient, quality, British manufacturing and a concern for the environment in the materials we source."
He continued: "At Woodstock Furniture, we have been very aware of hte objective of the Furniture Makers' Company and the impressive work it has done to set standards within the industry and encourage young talent. To be acknowledged by the Company is therefore a real celebration for us and we are very proud to be accepted into the company of other like-minded British designers and manufacturers."
