Chief financial office of BSH Home Appliances, Colin Blake is set to retire from his position after nearly 40 years working with the company.
Blake started working for BSH Home Appliances in 1975 and has been responsible for helping maintain profit goals, assisting in formulating the future direction of the company and monitoring the implementation of business plans.
He will be succeeded by Manfred Normann who has worked for BSH Home Appliances since 2002 and comes to the UK division from Greece, where he held the position of CFO and CEO.
Michael Steinle, CEO of BSH Home Appliances, said: "It is with mixed emotions that I announce Colin's retirement from the business. Colin has been an enormous source of support and counsel to me over the last three years and I think him for the loyal contribution that he has made to BSH over the last five decades and wish him a long, happy and healthy retirement."
He continued: " I would like to take this opportunity to welcome Manfred Normann to BSH UK. Manfred's strong reputation as a key figure within BSH global precedes him and I have complete confidence that under his direction, we will continue to improve our operating and financial efficiency."
