Speaking of the change, Chris Davies said: “I’m absolutely delighted with the hard work of our team and proud of the progress we’ve made over the last two decades. We have expanded to six continents, established regional offices and developed new product lines. I look forward to working closely with Edward and the rest of the management team in the years ahead. Victoria + Albert Baths has been on an exciting journey and there is plenty more to come.”

Edward Davies said of his new appointment: “I have worked closely with Chris over the last few years and I’m pleased to step into the role as CEO. We’ve seen stable growth in the company through somewhat turbulent times, and I’m confident that our strategy of moving into complementary products such as high-end furniture and brassware will support our core business of freestanding baths and basins.

“In the next few years, we will focus on strengthening our retail positioning, and also further expand into the contract market, where we’re starting to see some exciting results.”
