Hansgrohe Group appoints operations director

Giles Owen joins the company from Bristan, where he was head of customer service

Brassware manufacturer The Hansgrohe Group, which comprises brands Axor and Hansgrohe, has appointed Giles Owen as operations director for the UK.

Owen will be responsible for customer service and logistics and his role will start on November 19, 2018.

He will join the brassware manufacturer from Bristan, a fellow Masco company, where he spent four years as head of customer service.

During this time, Owen helped the company gain recognition in national awards for customer service.

Prior to working with Bristan, he has held a number of senior managerial positions in customer service at BT, Carphone Warehouse, My Travel and Thomas Cook.

Managing director of Hansgrohe UK Martin Mongan commented: “Bringing an excellent insight into the UK bathroom market, Giles will be an invaluable asset, along with his passion for driving an enhanced customer experience.”

The Hansgrohe Group has 34 subsidiaries and 21 sales offices supplying products, such as PowderRain, in more than 140 countries.
