Commenting on his new role, Garven said: “My predecessor built a very strong foundation for me to work from.

“Our customers know we make high quality products, which are great value for money, and I’m already enjoying assisting in the development and awareness of the Caple brand across the region.”

He added: “Local decision making, which will have a fundamental impact on my area, is one of the main aspects of this new role I am looking forward to.

“I really want to make a difference as I explore different avenues to develop my area and customer base.

“With a refreshing approach, not only from our managing director Danny Lay and our regional manager Amanda Atkins, but from our head office too, I feel empowered to get on with the job in hand.”

Managing director of Caple Danny Lay commented: “Ian is a very welcome addition to our team. With his kitchens and bathrooms industry experience, I believe this will stand him in good stead for this role.”
