Hansgrohe CEO to step down

Siegfried Gaensslen has been with the Hansgrohe group for 20 years

CEO of Hansgrohe, Siegfried Gaensslen, is to step down following 20 years with the company, and will turn over his office to Thorsten Klapproth on October 1, 2014.

Until May 2015, Gaensslen will take on the role of international executive advisor to the Masco Corporation, the majority shareholder of Hansgrohe.

He will advise president and CEO Keith Allman on the international alignment of the Masco Group.

For the past ten years, Klapproth has led the Wurttembergische Metallwarenfabrik AG (WMF AG) in Southern Germany.
