CAD provider 2020 has announced its first-ever global design competition for kitchen, bathroom and office designers, which opens for entries on April 22, 2021.

The Global Inspiration contest provides a platform for its users across North America, the United Kingdom and France to be recognised among their peers for functional and aesthetic design skills.

It features nine categories, spanning kitchen, bathroom and office spaces designs, which are as follows:

  • Traditional kitchen
  • Contemporary bathroom
  • Traditional bathroom
  • Any space
  • 360 panorama – any space
  • Office reconfigured space
  • Office flexible space
  • Educational space

2020 is encouraging designers to enter multiple submissions, however each design must be unique.

The winners will be chosen by a panel of expert judges with the top three designs being eligible to win the Voters’ Choice prize.

All will recieve an Amazon gift card and will be featured at a virtual event, 2020 Connect, which takes place in June.

VP of marketing Ken Short said: “This is the first time we’re hosting a 2020 Inspiration contest that is open to all our kitchen, bathroom and office designers from across the globe at the same time.

“We’re looking forward to seeing the beautiful and creative designs our talented customers submit this year.

The deadline for entries is May 17, 2021.

2020 recently introduced 2020 Fusion Live software, which has been created to “empower retailers through flexible working, offer an enhanced design experience and in-store engagement”.
