British flooring manufacturer Amtico is celebrating its 60^th anniversary with a year-long programme of activities.

The Coventry-headquartered manufacturer, which recently won a second award for Amtico Bio – its first bio-attributed LVT option, will also host behind-the-scenes factory tours, company shutdown days to reward employees, and flooring makeovers at its Coventry and Solihull locations.

Amtico kicked off its celebrations with simultaneous cake cutting across its four UK sites (Coventry, Solihull, Pilot Park and London studio) as well as its new office and studio in Düsseldorf’s Media Harbour in Germany.

In addition, the company also recognised its longest-serving employee, maintenance engineer David Quinn who celebrated his 47^th anniversary.

Last year, Amtico fundraised or provided volunteers for over 10 local organisations, including Heart of England Forest, Myton Hospice and the ‘Make Good Grow’ foundation.

To further support important causes, Amtico employees voted to support two charities in 2024 as part of its ‘Charity of the Year’ initiative.

Throughout the year, the company will continue its partnership with Birmingham’s Children’s Hospital for a second consecutive year and raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society.
