Aqualux owner establishes UK company

Dutch company, the Fetim Group has established Fetim Group UK

As part of its growth strategy for the UK and following its acquisition of Aqualux, the Fetim Group has opened premises in Solihull in the Midlands and established Fetim Group UK.

The Dutch company is privately owned and specialises in construction products, including home decoration and sanitary products to trade and retail chains and is active in over 40 countries.

The sales and distribution premises will not only house Aqualux products, but will also include other brands from the Fetim Group.

Managing director of Fetim Group UK, Simon Page explained: “Aqualux is the UK’s leading supplier of shower enclosures and bath screens and wil continue to trade under that name, and benefit from further investment. However, we are certain there is real opportunity to bring other complementary products from the Fetim Group to commercial and retail customers in the UK. 

“The move to the 5,300sqm premises at Solar Park, allows us to integrate our shelving, flooring and our window decoration businesses together with our sanitary division. By utilising our proven international expertise, broadening our product portfolio with strongly performing brands from Europe, we can create a unique sales, distribution and service offer for our UK customers.”

He continued: “This is a very exciting time for us, not only are we inveting heavily in our UK sales, customer service, product development and technical service teams at Solar Park, but our improved supply chain, logisitics and warehousing operation means our customers will benefit from a more efficient and enhanced service from us. We will also invest in a dedicated Innovation Centre to which we intend to invite customers and showcase our products.”

Sales & marketing director Mike Jones commented: “The move to new larger premises will provide a number of real benefits to our customers including; dealing with one supplier with experienced technical and sales support support, access to a wider product offering, and with us distributing and promoting European brands from here, we will be giving our customers the opportunitity to differentiate and provide real choice to the end consumer.”
