Director of Southampton-based retailer Harris Bathrooms, Ryan Harris commented on LinkedIn: “Pinch me! Just had two letters of price decreases.”

Imex Ceramics and Waters Baths of Ashbourne are among bathroom suppliers confirmed to have reduced their prices in 2023.

UK retail sales director of Imex Ceramics James Wood commented: “To my knowledge we were the first to announce a reduction to our UK partners.”

Waters Baths of Ashbourne has recently rolled back prices across three bath collections – Space, i-Line and its Natura models.

“It’s nice to see”, commented managing director of Milton Keynes retailer PHS Bathrooms Chris Leighton on Waters Baths’s discount.

Director of Waters Baths Lee Frost said he hopes this step will buoy up its retailers and ultimately the consumer into making positive moves to purchase.

“We want to support our retailers as best we can. We’re hoping that rolling back to spring forward is just the boost they need!

“It’s important that we’re able to help them find new opportunities to win more business and reduce total project costs without compromising on either the quality or design.

“It’s great to be able to deliver some good news and give back.”

However, kitchen retailers have seemingly not had the same fortune with supplier price decreases, as design director of Kitchens by JS Geddes Joanna Geddes stated: “We haven’t seen any as yet…but we can live in hope.”

And director at Kutchenhaus Chichester Andy Barwell said he had only seen price increases.

However, Italian furniture manufacturer Gruppo Lube has decreased its prices, Kaelo lowered the price of its entry level product and Quooker has held its prices for 2023.
