Appliance brand donates £28,000 and turns logo green for a month

Home appliance brand Beko has marked the launch of its latest laundry, which can wash a full load in 28 minutes, by donating £28,000 to its long-standing charity partner Barnado’s.

The Beko blue logo has also turned green for October, in-line with the brand imagery of the children’s charity.

Marketing director of Beko Donald Shepherd commented: “Over the last four years, we’ve donated over 200 homes appliances with an RRP value of £73,566 to families in need, as well as international fundraising that has included bake sales and sponsored runs. We’re really excited about our Beko Goes Green activity as it marks our on-going commitment to supporting this important family charity.
