Appliance manufacturer Fisher & Paykel will be showcasing its latest launches on a stand created by three up-and-coming New Zealand designers, and will boast a guest appearance from adventurer Ben Fogle.

The stand will feature its latest column refrigeration, with variable temperature zone to enable the user to switch between fridge and freezer functions, as well as touch screen ovens.

Providing a guided cooking experience, the ovens offer three main options; Cook by Function, Cook by Food Type and Cook by Recipe.

The touchscreen interface provides full guidance of the recipe including the method, ingredients and shelf position.

In addition, Fisher & Paykel will also showcase its DishDrawer dishwasher in a black finish.

Head of marketing at Fisher & Paykel Helen Haider commented: “This year, our number one priority is kitchen studios and independent KBB retailers, and this will be reflected in the innovation and level of investment at KBB 2020.

“Our stand design this year will really set the bar in immersive design. It’s going to incorporate a beautiful backdrop inspired by the fresh and green landscape of New Zealand in which we will display our gorgeous new column refrigeration and touch screen ovens.

“We are also delighted to welcome a long-time friend of F&P, Ben Fogle who will open the show on Monday, March 2 with a captivating talk on his travels around New Zealand and his affinity with our brand which strives to be the most human centred appliance brand in the world.”

She added: “For us, the show is about reconnecting with our current KBB partners and providing a platform for new studios who are yet to discover our innovations and design philosophy at the premium end of the market.”
