“The Chinese market is particularly interested in premium brand proposals and in the quality of Made in Italy, making it a natural choice of location for us to expand to and one where the Bertazzoni kitchen suite has real potential.”

The company achieves over 90% of its revenue abroad and the direct entry into the Chinese market is part of its strategic and commercial development.

Established as a cooking brand, the Bertazzoni brand introduced refrigeration and most recently launched a collection of cooling columns.

Paolo Bertazzoni stated: “Over the last three years we have invested heavily in our production plants and in the three years ahead, 2021 – 23, we plan to invest a further €15million in not only the development of strategic international markets, such as China, but also in product innovation, digitisation and the recruitment of new specialised figures.

“All this being done with the aim of continuing our revenue growth and in preparation for our 140th anniversary in 2022.”
