Shortlisted for two award categories
Omnichannel bathroom and tile retailer Better Bathrooms has been named a finalist in two categories of the Lloyds Bank National Business Awards.
The company has been shortlisted for Employer of the Year and UKTI Growth Business of the Year categories.
Headquartered in Leigh, Lancashire, Better Bathrooms was established 14 years’ ago as just an online business.
But as well as etailing, the company now also operates through eight showrooms, two trade counters and boasts a distribution hub and office, employing 350 people across the business.
Within the past three years, the company has scooped 27 awards, including Retail Week Enterprise Award for Employer of the Year in 2014.
CEO and Founder of Better Bathrooms, Colin Stevens commented: “It’s fantastic news to be shortlisted in the Growth Business of the Year and in the Employer of the Year categories.
“I strive to create a culture of innovation, giving each employee a sense of ownership on the business and rewarding and promoting from within. This helps mould talent and nurture progression and it’s great to see staff progress and grow with the company. I’d have it no other way. I believe in my team and this nomination is a team effort.”
Winners of the Lloyd Bank National Business Award will be announced at a gala dinner held at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London on November 10.
