The Bathroom Manufacturers Association (BMA) has postponed its conference until 2022, in light of ongoing COVID-19 concerns.

Planned to take place on June 7-8, 2021, at Carden Park Hotel in Cheshire, it has now been postponed to June 6-7,2022.

It is the second time the association has been forced to postpone the event because of the pandemic, with its original dates planned for September 2020.

CEO of the BMA TomReynolds explained the decision: “The safety of all the attendees and BMA employees is at the forefront of our minds, and we have been working with Carden Park to assess whether the event can go ahead.

“This is the second time we have taken the decision to postpone the conference, and it’s with a heavy heart we’ve taken this step.

“Ongoing lockdown and travel restrictions in the UK, and uncertainty about the vaccine timetable, have prompted this move.

“Rather than cancelling the event at the last minute, we’ve take the decision to postpone for now, but I want to reassure everyone, the conference will happen at some point, and we will do everything we can to make it worth the wait.”

The conference speakers Tim Pollard, Lewis Dartnell, John Hotowka, Chadden Hunter and Robert Llewellyn have all agreed to feature in the 2022 event.

All previous bookings will be honoured and the BMA is also taking bookings for the rescheduled event.
