Bora Classic and Bora Pure are named winners

Downdraft extraction manufacturer Bora has scooped a Red Dot Product Design Award for its Bora Classic 2.0 and Bora Pure.

It adds to the appliances existing haul, which includes the iF Design Award and the Plux X Award.

Manufacturers from 55 countries entered more than 5,500 products into the Red Dot Award and the winners were chosen by an international jury.

All the products are evaluated on criteria which includes innovation, functionality, formal quality, durability and ergonomics.

The Bora Classic 2.0 features a vertical slider control and has an operating panel which is virtually invisible when in standby mode.

It was chosen by owner Kia Stanford of Kia Designs as one of her Most Wanted products featured in our March issue.

Created as the entry point model for the brand, Bora Pure features an air inlet which is available in a choice of six colours.
