British Ceramic Tile named Made in Britain Member 2018

Acknowledged for championing British manufacturing and sharing best practice

Manufacturer of ceramic and glass tiles, British Ceramic Tile has been chosen as the Made in Britain (MiB) Member of the Year 2018.

MiB is an organisation which brings together the UK’s manufacturing community under one registered marque.

It provides businesses with information, guidance and advice to help members trade more effectively at home or abroad.

British Ceramic Tile joined Made in Britain (MiB) in 2017 and has delivered a series of initiatives with the organisation, and its members, to champion British manufacturing and share best practice.

This included a marketing and sales workshop in the South West of England for local, Devon-based businesses.

It was led by Made in Britain CEO John Pearce, Devon Chamber of Commerce CEO George Cowcher and British Ceramic Tile CEO Tony Taylor.

Head of customer marketing at British Ceramic Tile Liam Poole commented: “As a company we have enjoyed working closely with MiB, and building relationships with likeminded businesses.

“The organisation is a perfect fit for us as a company, allowing us to communicate our British heritage and passion for UK manufacturing.

“We’ll be continuing to support the network into 2019, and hope to encourage more British businesses to do the same.”

British Ceramic Tile announced its ambition to become THE tile brand at KBB Birmingham, 2018.
