Launch of first British Kitchen Design Awards
The inaugural British Kitchen Design Awards will be launched in January 2015 to recognise and reward technical excellence and creativity in kitchen planning and design.
Organised by the British Kitchen Designers Association (BKDA), the awards will be open to all industry professionals in the UK & Ireland and honours will be presented by designers to designers.
The awards will not only recognise the aesthetic value in kitchen design but will go further and reward effective space planning, ergonomics, safety and the ability of professional kitchen designers to work to a client’s brief and budget. These elements underpin effective kitchen design at a professional level.

There will be two categories, based on the overall project cost, plus the British Kitchen Design Awards (BritKit) will also incorporate the Marion John Awards, for small kitchen and bathroom projects, which will retain their name in memory of Marion John.
You can enter the awards online, with registration opening on Jan 2, 2015.
