Second Caesarstone distribution centre opens in Manchester

Adding to its London HQ, the second  Caesarstone distribution centre has now been opened in Trafford Park, Manchester.

The 20,000sqft warehouse will act as a hub, serving customers in the north and has been created to cut delivery times and improve service levels.

A showroom will also open on the same site of the Caesarstone distribution centre, which will mirror the company’s London Studio, opened at its headquarters in May 2018.

It  will be designed to appear to, and cater for, end consumers, kitchen designers and architects, with large format slabs on display.

UK managing director of Caesarstone Amir Reske said: “Our UK business continues to grow at a significant rate and the opening of our Manchester distribution centre is another milestone is our long-term UK expansion strategy.

“We have a very healthy business in the north of England with growing demand for our products.

“Our new Trafford Park location will allow us to improve on our already excellent levels of service, as well as catering for northern-based consumers by giving them a more accessible location to view our award-winning surfaces.”

Caesarstone has confirmed it will open additional distribution centres in the UK over the next 12 months.

Founded in 1987, Caesarstone has its head office in Sdot Yam, Israel and manufactures quartz surfacing at three facilities with two in Israel and one in Richmond Hill, Georgia, USA.

It has traded on NASDAQ since 2012 and Caesarstone UK made its first appearance at kbbBirmingham in 2018.
