Carla Kriwet named CEO of BSH Hausgerate

Responsible for the global business of the home appliance manufacturer and more than 60,000 employees

Carla Kriwet will take over as CEO of BSH Hausgerate, responsible for the group’s global home appliance business and more than 60,000 employees, from July 1, 2020.

Kriwet joins BSH from the health technology company Philips, where she has had many years’ experience in working for the business.

At Philips, she is a member of the executive committee and has held various management positions.

Since 2017, Kriwet has been in charge of the Connected Care cluster, where she is also responsible for digital innovations.

Chairman of the BSH supervisory board Stefan Asenkerschbaumer said: “Caral Kriwet is an experienced manager and outstanding leadership personality  with great expertise in digital technologies and innovative products.

“We are delighted to be appointing her as CEO to the BSH board of management.”

Uwe Raschke, who is responsible for the consumer good division on the Robert Bosch board of management and has additionally led BSH since July 2019, said: “Carla Kriwet has all the qualities needed to continue the longstanding success story of BSH.”

BSH UK & Ireland has also recently announced the appointment of Gunjan Srivastava as CEO.
