Following 20 years of working together, bath manufacturer Carron Bathrooms is set to split with distributor Eastbrook Company from February 28, 2022.
Carron Bathrooms said the decision was based upon the result of a shared strategic review into the partnership and highlighted the companies are parting on good terms.
It will see long-term distributor partner Q4 Bathrooms increase its inventory and distribution capacity.
In addition, the bath manufacturer will announce a new route to market for its products on December 1, 2021 to offer its customers an “enhanced” service offering.
Managing director of Carron Bathrooms James McMorrine commented: “Carron Bathrooms and Eastbrook Company can confirm that following over twenty years of trading together, we have decided to terminate our partnership upon the expiry of Eastbrook’s current catalogue on 28th February 2022.
“To be clear, this decision comes as the result of a shared strategic review into our partnership, and we part company on good terms.
“The priority of both companies in the disengagement process is to ensure that our loyal customers have continuity of supply throughout the remainder of 2021.
“Carron will ensure that Eastbrook continue to access the products required to fulfil demand.”
He continued: “Our long-term partners, Q4 Bathrooms, have been working closely with us over the last few weeks to increase their inventory and distribution capacity and we will announce an exciting new route to market on 1st December so that our customers can enjoy an enhanced service offering.
“Until then, it is very much business as usual.”
Carron Bathrooms recently announced a £1.5million in robotics to automate its production and improve manufacturing efficiencies.
