Bathroom and ceramic tile exhibition Cersaie is nearly sold out, with the organiser reporting 92% of the exhibition space for 2022 is already booked.

Cersaie attendance over half of 2019 show despite COVID

The show, which takes place in Bologna from September 26-30, attracts professionals from construction, architecture and interior design.

It is expected to fill 15 halls of the BolognaFiere exhibition centre, to cater for an increased number of visitors from Italy and around the world, following the easing of COVID travel regulations.

Last year, the show attracted more than 62,000 people, nearly 40% of which were international, despite travel regulations.

In 2021, Cersaie provided a total space of 150,000sqm in 2021 and featured 623 companies.

It included 361 companies from the ceramic tile sector, 87 from the bathroom furnishings sector and 175 from the installation, raw materials, new surfaces and service activities sectors.

The 39th outing of Cersaie will also boast a programme of informative and educational events, including conferences, under the theme of Building, Dwelling, Thinking.

In addition, there will also be technical and educational seminars held in Tiling Town at the show.

Complementing the in-person show, Cersaie Digital will be held online for three weeks from September 19 to October 7.
