Speaking about the accolade, director at CKP David Turner  commented: “We were delighted to receive this award and to receive recognition for recycling our displays.

“The Used Kitchen Company team is easy to deal with and removes the hassle of selling our ex-displays.

“We have even had our own customers selling their existing kitchens through TUKC to part-fund their new dream kitchen. We would highly recommend it to any kitchen retailer.”

Since the Symphony Group has partnered with The Used Kitchen Company to improve sustainability in the kitchen sector, it has prevented ex-display and used kitchens ending up in landfill.

Founder of The Used Kitchen Looeeze Grossman said: “We are incredibly proud of our partnership with Symphony and what it has achieved in the last three years.

“Congratulations to CKP, they were great to work with and a very deserving winner and it’s good to see them utilising the partnership. We are delighted to have found so many of their ex-displays a new home.

“As a company committed to sustainability, we take great pleasure in partnering with retailers to sell both ex-display and client-owned kitchens.

“Our customers are consistently thrilled to uncover not only great savings but an opportunity to add to their own eco-credentials too.”

Commenting on CKP’s win, group marketing & retail sales director at Symphony Simon Collyns said: “We are incredibly proud of our partnership with The Used Kitchen Company (TUKC), as it mirrors how sustainability is at the heart of everything we do.

“Extending the life of old kitchens by finding them new homes not only makes sense for the environment, but is also testament to the quality of the kitchens themselves.

“CKP has won this award thanks to its unwavering commitment to recycling and sustainability and we truly hope this continues for years to come.”

The Used Kitchen Company sells ex-displays for more than 1400 retailers nationwide, helping to reduce waste going to landfills and assisting showrooms with the cost of removing or storing  displays.
