Quartz and sintered stone surfacing manufacturer Cosentino has been listed as one of 50 of the best companies to work for by the Spanish edition of Forbes magazine, Forbes Espana.

The list details the best 50 companies to work, featuring those with more than 1,000 employees and with a base or presence in Spain.

It is based on the opinions of more than 8,000 employees from the biggest companies, across all industries, in Spain.

Forbes Espana worked in partnership with market research and survey company Sigma Dos for the first Spanish edition of the ranking.

Participating companies were subjected to a thorough process, which included a survey of at least 80 of their employees.

They quantified and evaluated up to 34 aspects including the company’s culture, work environment, human resource policies and professional development opportunities.

The family-owned Cosentino Group manufactures Silestone, Dekton and  Sensa by Cosentino brands, and employs a workforce of more than 4,400 across 75 nationalities.

Headquartered in Almeria, Spain, the company has eight factories and its products are available in more than 110 countries.

Cosentino recently reopened its UK HQ, following a “substantial” refurbishment.
