Following an investment of £500,000, Cosentino has created a 32,000sqft logistics and showroom facility, which will be able to store 4,000 slabs.

The Centre will cover East Midland and East Anglia regions and will be headed up by general manager Ross Stewart, who will oversee a team of nine employees.

Having joined the company as a client manager, Ross Stewart became the general manager at its existing Gloucester Centre, before taking on Newmarket.

He commented: “Opening a new centre in East Anglia cements Cosentino’s presence in the area.

“It allows us to continue to provide the exceptional service we are renowned for to our customers and achieve at least two deliveries to all customers every week.

“We will also be able to offer our local studios the amazing opportunity to use this facility as a sales tool to showcase our materials in larger formats to assist in their customers’ decision-making.”

Stewart continued: “I am looking forward to building relationships with existing and new key partners and I know that the team in Newmarket are eager to show all our customers what a high level of service Cosentino can provide to them and ensure we remain their go-to surface supplier.”

Newmarket adds to Cosentino’s existing centres in Belfast, Darlington, Dublin, East London, Gloucester, Manchester, Scotland and its recently-refurbished HQ in Hook.

In addition, the company also has a flagship commercial design showroom in Clerkenwell, Cosentino City London.
