Although not drawn on the exact figure, Crown stated the investment was “substantial”.

The 46m line will allow the company to deliver five designs in its Painted Fusion collection within three weeks of ordering.

Prior to the line being installed in the factory, the lead time for these kitchens was five weeks

Managing director of Crown Imperial Barry Head commented: “We continue to invest in new technology to ensure we deliver the highest quality furniture products and are thrilled to offer significantly reduced lead times for our retailers.”

When asked if the line would see the company introduced more spray painted finishes, Crown reported it would “provide new opportunities to explore.”

Crown has also recently offered an upgrade across its entire Crown Imperial collection, with optional Tip-on Blumotion drawers.
