Croydex crowned winners of Homebase golf day

Thousands raised for charity

Bathroom accessories manufacturer Croydex has won the sixth annual Homebase golf day.

A total of 176 players took part in the event at the Marquess and Dukes championship golf course in Woburn, Bedfordshire raising £46,000 for charity. 

Entertainment was provided by a comedian and an eight-piece gospel choir, as well as an auction, raffle and dinner in the evening.

Croydex managing director Nick McGrellis said: “It was a fantastic day for everyone to get together, play golf and help raise the huge sum of money for charity”.

The next Homebase golf day will take place on July 10, 2014 at Woburn.
