In association with TheBusinessDesk.com, the 2021 Business Masters Awards celebrates Yorkshire businesses and spans 13 categories, with  winners at the landmark Queens Hotel in Leeds on October 14, 2021.

Given the national and regional business challenges due to the pandemic, it has required companies to be more agile, innovative and resilient.

In light of this, the Yorkshire Business Masters Awards added two new categories to the line-up: Disruptor and Sustainability.

These new categories will allow businesses to show how they are harnessing the power of technology to change their company and industry, and how a company addresses environmental issues to protect the planet.

Managing Director at Daval Furniture Simon Bodsworth said: “I strongly believe that you make your own luck in business and ethical investments and supporting your local community are fundamental factors.

“As we adjust to changes following Brexit and look to support British manufacturing by adopting more sustainable strategies across the built environment, we are pleased to be able to offer a retail package that is efficient, high quality and sustainable with a highly desirable ‘signature style’ that considers the individual, home architecture and planet in one.”

“We are therefore extremely proud to bring the best of sustainable British manufacturing to thousands of properties across the UK and it is a credit to our loyal and hardworking team that we continue to serve real needs, in real time.

“ This award nomination is yet another step forward for our 100% recycled collection Renzo, which marks our strong company ethos of eco-responsibility and initiatives like ‘Buy British’ and ‘Shop Local’ – fingers crossed for the results in October.”

He added: “Consumers are increasingly fascinated with the provenance and longevity of materials, especially when it comes to buying a replacement or new kitchen, which is why Daval is committed to the environment, creating products and manufacturing techniques which forge a sustainable future for our business.”
